Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival in Tanzania, your family will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore the hotel facilities or simply rest before the safari begins. In the evening, your guide will give you a short safari briefing, explain the journey ahead, and answer any questions about the national parks and wildlife you may encounter during your family adventure.

Day
Arusha → Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most rewarding wildlife destinations. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which attracts animals throughout the year. Enjoy a game drive through the park’s diverse landscapes as your family searches for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and colourful bird species. Your guide will share interesting facts about the animals and their natural environment, making the experience enjoyable for both adults and children. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park, followed by more wildlife viewing before driving to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.
