Lemosho Route Kilimanjaro Day Hike Itinerary
Day 1 - Lemosho Gate to Big Tree Camp (Day Hike)
Your day starts with a hotel pick-up and transfer to Lemosho Gate. After registration, the hike begins through the dense rainforest, where you’ll walk under a thick canopy of ancient trees and moss-covered branches.
The trail is filled with beautiful scenery, including giant ferns, wildflowers, and the sound of birds. If you're lucky, you might spot monkeys or antelopes along the way. As you go higher, the forest begins to open up, revealing stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
You'll hike towards Big Tree Camp, reaching an elevation of 2,800m/9,186ft before taking a break to enjoy the mountain’s peaceful environment. After some rest and lunch, you'll descend back to Lemosho Gate, where your driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
